Hidden Treasures of the Local Landscape

Local naturalist and landscape photographer Claire Dacey presents a striking series of large format photos of local natural areas. Using her old-fashioned, rosewood film-camera, Claire captures scenes that convey a strong sense of place -- with subtle light and remarkable detail that make them seem real enough to step right into. The heart of this exhibit is a collection of photos and natural history narrative profiling the Edward Dwyer Conservation Area in downtown Easthampton, sponsored by a 2008 grant from the Easthampton Cultural Council.
