I live in Easthampton and truly enjoy painting whatever patrons choose: landscapes, favorite vacation destinations, their homes, portraits, pets, backyards, gardens, wildlife, the cosmos—whatever the subject, I enjoy working with each person to create a vision that is unique and original just for them. I can also create pieces for consignment, sale or lease for corporate and office settings. In addition, I sell matted prints and other framings of my prints.

I have had my work shown in local galleries and juried art shows as well as my own showing at the Boston statehouse.

I’m gratified to offer my art for non-profit benefits to raise money for worthy causes, whenever I can.

I am a member of the Easthampton Chamber of Commerce as an artist (Alla Prima Art) as well as a member of the Easthampton Cultural Council.

limited edition prints.

Painting or the process of making images is a journey toward wholeness, a practice for understanding and celebrating life. The awe inherent in nature and personal/archetypal images that surface through meditaion, combined with the healing powers of color is my vehicle. It is my belief and my hope that by distilling the imagery through their own being, the viewers soul is sparked and nurtured with inspirtion and the joyful recognition of the inerconnectedness of all.

The elements of the cycles of life: gestation, birth, growth, death and the changing seasons are significant in my paintings.

Event:
I am a relative newcomer to the world of creative painting. My wife and I were blessed with a beautiful son 5 years ago, and, starting about 3 years ago when we would visit a restaurant that offered crayons with the meal (you know the one ) we would get great enjoyment from drawing and coloring with each other.

That was my very simple start. I have been a big fan of painting and painters for many years and I decided to make a go of it.

Since beginning with oils, I have worked with acrylic and have fallen in love with watercolours. You will see a very eclectic sampling of my first years work. I have also included some paintings which may have a wider appeal to more audiences. I am not ashamed to use bright colours if they help express the message I am trying to deliver.

You may see other examples of my work on AFFORDABLEARTS.
BLOGSPOT.COM. The site is a work in progress, so please excuse the disorder. I hope to see you at the November 11th ART WALK.
