Artist: Briana Taylor Medium: Photography - Polaroid Venue: Mt.Tom's Homemade Ice Cream Address: 34 Cottage St Event: Using an old Polaroid Land Camera that's taped together with electrical tape, and simple, primitive supplies, I strive to capture the reflective moment in these images. There's always a feeling of the abandoned, an empty solitude that seems to emerge from each print no matter what the subject. The small, intimate images feel like flitting childhood memories, sepia and grainy, each one a separate visual record like remembering a certain campsite or an old penny candy store.
